Elana Peters, MA, CMC (ret). For over 40 years, Ms. Peters has been assisting caregiving family members with the complex issues of caring for older family members. As a geriatric care manager, support group facilitator, university instructor, international lecturer and author of the award winning book, Hard Questions, Simple Answers: A Workbook to Take the Crisis Out of Caregiving, she has helped educate family caregivers enabling them to give the appropriate care.. Along the way, Ms. Peters has heard hundreds of stories from women who are the primary caregiver for an older parent or relative. These caring women have the frustrations, the challenges and the heartaches of wanting to help their loved ones feel better, comfortable and happy too often sacrificing their health and well-being to caregiving.
